How Can We Help

Our Services

Whether care is required on a permanent, temporary or home-based basis, our services are designed to provide elderly people with the appropriate level of professional support while giving their families greater confidence and peace of mind.

Frail Care & Assisted Living

Laudium Retirement Home provides a caring and supportive residential environment for elderly people who require assistance with daily living or more comprehensive frail care. Our premises are adapted and staffed to support residents’ nutritional, physical, medical and social needs.

Residents have access to 24-hour care by qualified caregivers, supervision by a registered nurse, monthly doctor services and regular monitoring of vital signs. Care is supported by nutritious meals, laundry services, mental and physical stimulation, grooming and a safe and secure living environment.

Short-Term Stay

Sometimes families need professional care for a loved one for a limited period — for example, while travelling or when their normal care arrangements are temporarily unavailable. Laudium Retirement Home offers short-term accommodation for elderly people who need a safe, supportive place to stay for a period of less than a month or two.

Short-term residents receive the same care and services available to permanent residents, including 24-hour caregiver and nursing support, monitoring of vital signs, three daily meals, laundry, Wi-Fi, physical and mental stimulation activities and security. Accommodation is charged at a daily rate.

Home-Based Care

Not every elderly person needs or wants to move into residential care. Laudium’s Home-Based Care Programme is designed to support families who wish to care for an elderly loved one in the comfort and familiarity of their own home while receiving professional assistance.

Support can include monitoring of vital signs, mobility assistance, personal hygiene such as bathing, dressing and grooming, administering medication, palliative care under the supervision of a registered nurse, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and companionship.

Wound Care

Laudium Retirement Home also provides specialised wound care for people who require professional treatment in their own homes.

Professionally trained wound-care caregivers visit patients at home to provide treatment for deep and septic wounds under the supervision of a wound-care specialist. This enables patients to receive appropriate support without having to leave the comfort of their own home.
